HOW DO I SUBMIT TO BE AN EXTRA?
Please find the "CASTING CALLS" page above to see the projects we are currently casting for. Read the instructions carefully and submit all required info / photos via the instructions listed.

DO I NEED TO ANSWER EVERY QUESTION FOR THE SUBMISSION?
Yes please! Every question is important to our booking process even if it doesn’t seem like it initially. The most important information is your contact information (phone number especially) and current photos of yourself. Answer every question to the best of your ability.

WHEN AM I GOING TO HEAR BACK?
After you submit to our database don’t be discouraged if you don’t hear back about a role right away! We will reach out to you via email if we have a role for you, so keep eyes on your email. Casting is ongoing throughout each project so it may be halfway through filming, or even the end of filming before you hear from us.

SHOULD I RESUBMIT IF I RECENTLY SUBMITTED FOR A DIFFERENT PROJECT YOU WERE CASTING?

Yes! We are always looking for the most current photos and information about you, so we would always encourage you to resubmit for each individual project. However there is no need to resubmit for the SAME project if you have already done so!

WHAT KIND OF PHOTOS SHOULD I SUBMIT?
Please send us CURRENT photos that show your current hairstyle, length, color and facial hair (if applicable). We ideally want one close up photo of your face, and two full body photos. NO sunglasses, NO hats. We need to clearly see your face. Non-professional photos are preferred!  If you have a professional headshot you can send that as well, but it is not required and we always want a candid photo in addition to a headshot.

I’M HAVING DIFFICULTIES UPLOADING PHOTOS FOR MY SUBMISSION WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Sometimes when you click the upload photo button, the screen will go gray and you need to scroll up or down the page to find the section that displays where you can choose to upload. You can also “drag and drop” the photos into the section beneath the question. Please also ensure that you are only uploading 1-2 photos in a .jpeg or .png format. If you are still having trouble and you are using a tablet or a phone, please try to submit using a laptop or a desktop computer.

CAN I USE MY CELL PHONE ON SET?
No. There are NO personal cell phones allowed on set. When you check-in you must turn your cell phone off and leave it either in your vehicle or with your personal belongings in holding. You will not be able to use your phone until you are wrapped from set. You may see crew members using their cell phones. These are pre-approved devices being used for production specific purposes only. Just because you see a crew member using a phone does NOT mean you are allowed to bring your phone to set.

IS PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED ON SET?
ALL photography is STRICTLY prohibited. There is ABSOLUTELY NO PHOTOGRAPHY ALLOWED ON SET. Some crew members have specific camera clearances and are required to take photos as deemed necessary for their jobs. If you see a crew member taking a photo that does NOT mean you are cleared to take a photo. Again, there is NO PHOTOGRAPHY on set.

CAN I POST ABOUT MY EXTRA WORK ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
NO. All information about actors, characters, costumes, sets, locations, plot-lines, bookings, filming locations, costume / hair and make-up notes and the like are strictly confidential.
There is NO posting on any social media and NO talking to the press regarding ANY information of your involvement in the film/tv project.
This means no posting on any platforms (Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat or any others) that you have been contacted by a member of our staff about a possible booking.
If you post information related to the production on ANY social media platform or speak to the press about any details related to the production you will be in direct violation of the NDA you sign when you fill out your start work.

AVAILABILITY CHECKS / BOOKING:
When we reach out to check your availability for a specific date, we will need you to be available ALL DAY for the specific date of filming we are asking about. ALL DAY means 12+ hours. We film for a minimum of 12 hours each day and we do not get the call times from production until the day before filming, so you must be flexible and available to start early and stay late when you are committing to being available for the ALL DAY 12+ hours commitment.  Once you respond AVAILABLE for a day of extra work, we will add you to our list of available extras for that day. Call times and details will be sent out the day before your filming date. Please KEEP yourself available for the ALL-DAY commitment once you have responded AVAILABLE for that day of work. All details about what to bring, what to wear, where to be and what time you should be there will come the day before you work via email. So again please KEEP EYES ON YOUR EMAIL.

HOW CAN I EXPECT TO HEAR FROM YOU/RECEIVE INFORMATION?
We will always contact you via email first, so keep eyes on your email for the duration of filming so you can respond as soon as possible! Sometimes emails go to junk mail so check there too on occasion! ALL important information will come via email. If we can’t get a hold of you via email we may call you so be sure that your contact information is accurate so you don’t miss anything. Also make sure your voicemail box is set up and NOT full so we can leave you a message!

CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
No. All sets are CLOSED sets. Due to safety guidelines and privacy concerns the only people allowed on set are approved crew and background actors.  If you have friends or family that are interested in working as extras, they can submit their information and photos to the project via the casting intake form, and we can do our best to book them, we may even be able to try to book you together for a day of work, though there is no guarantee.

HOW DO I GET PAID?

Unless otherwise specified, ALL roles that we cast are paid positions. The rates can vary from project to project. We will inform you of the rate for the project when we reach out to check your availability. Checks are sent in the mail 2-3 weeks after you work. The checks come from a payroll company, not directly from us. If payment is a hardcopy voucher, KEEP the Pink copy of your voucher for each day that you work for your records. The payroll company contact info is on that pink copy of your voucher in case you need to contact them.
